There are very few guidelines for posting here.

Anyone can put up a story.

The stories should be based on the work of Jane Austen.

Every story is archived unless the author states that they do not want it saved.

We have many young people here and we ask that authors respect our wish to keep things appropriate for our young teens. We therefore ask that you refrain from graphic situations and language.

That's it!

FYI. When an author posts a story and gives their e-mail address, that address is hidden away in the story's file in the archives. It can be seen in the source code of the file, but it does not appear when someone pulls the story up and views it in their browser. This is done for administrative purposes, in case the author needs to be contacted.
